Émilie, a lonely girl in a park filled with children playing and having fun, loses her ball in a little pond. When she tries to get it back, she discovers Ondine, a little creature in the water. She makes friends with Ondine and lives a magical moment with her.

Just out of school, Laura Alves went to the École Émile Cohl to continue and improve her drawing. She became interested in combining animated images and sound, and specialised in animated film with the idea of animating the characters she liked to draw. Attracted both by pop culture and colourful fairy worlds, she naturally decided to make her graduation film on these subjects. Ondine is a fairy tale for children combining gentleness, magic, and lightness.
