I am 28 years old and I feel like I am part of a confused generation. I noticed my parents got married when they were 22 years old and that was not an exception for those times. People used to get married much younger than nowadays. And I asked myself what changed in our lifestyle that made us be so insecure on our feelings. The only reason I found was that my generation is one of the first that developed in the first years after the fall of communism, we were the first to grow in a consumerist lifestyle. My parents had no options. Us instead, when we go today to a mall or at a supermarket we have hundreds of options to choose and buy. And we are never certain if we choose the right product. There is always another option which might be better. And I think this mentality transferred to us even when we have to deal with love and choosing the right partner. We are never sure we made the right decision and we consume relationships in the same way as products. People nowadays tend to be more superficial regarding their love life and not pay any attention to their own feelings. They take decisions following their narrow minds, without listening to their instincts. This is a film about good and bad decisions, this is a film about my generation and for my generation.
