Born in Lausanne in 1990, Marjolaine Perreten studied at ERACOM (Switzerland) from 2009 to 2012. After working for Nadasdy Film (Geneva, Switzerland) for director Marcel Barelli (Gypaetus Helveticus, Vigia), she made the short film Balloon Birds which was selected for over 50 festivals, and in 2013 was admitted to la Poudrière (Valence, France) where she made Novembre, her graduation film.
