15-year-old Matti gets no chance for peace and quiet, neither here nor there. Always, when he is about to go out with his mates or wants to “schmooze” with his girlfriend, his mobile rings. His mother wants him to come home. Why does she need his help so urgently, and what for... ?

Having studied psychology as well as theatre, film and television studies at the FU Berlin, he completed training as a scriptwriter at the German Academy of Film and Television Berlin (dffb) and a Master's degree in direction at the State Polish Film Academy in Lodz. Two of his short films were selected for the School Film competition in Premiers Plans: Moj Brat in 2009, and Syn in 2010.
