Astronaut, forest ranger, designer... Rakel, 23 years old, has all the projects in the world, except the one to become a mother. When she discovers that she is 6 months pregnant after a one-night stand, it's a disaster! It's decided: adoption is the only solution. Then Ninjababy appears, an animated character out of her notebook, who will make her life hell...

Born in 1974, she wrote and directed for the broadcaster NRK for 17 years before making her first film for the cinema with Women in Oversized Men's Shirts (2015), which was acclaimed by both critics and audiences.
Her short film Eple (Apple) also met with success in 2017. Flikke then made several episodes of the drama series Home Ground (seasons 1 and 2), which was selected for the Berlinale in 2018 and won several awards in Norway. Through her films, which mix humor and drama, Yngvild Sve Flikke works particularly around feminist issues.
