Claire Burger worked for two years as a journalist/reporter in the Lorraine region of France where she comes from. She then went on to la fémis to study editing. In parallel to her studies she has made magazines for the channel Pink TV. At la fémis, she made her first shorts, Forbach, presented in the School Films section, then Toute ma vie j'ai rêvé, presented in the Figures Libres section this year (cf. p. ...). Forbach came second in the Prix de la Cinéfondation, at the Cannes Festival in 2008.
