Youssef lives a reclusive and marginal life. His only friend is Chagadai, his dog. One evening when they are at the beach he disappears. To find him again Youssef has to go on a dangerous quest in the slums of Casablanca.

Kamal Lazraq is a Moroccan director born in 1984 in Casablanca. During his studies at La fémis he made several short films. In 2011 his graduation film, Drari, shot in Casablanca, won the second Cinéfondation Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and was in competition in Angers in 2012 in the European School Films category. In 2013, Kamal Lazraq made his first film after leaving La fémis, Moul Lkelb (The Man with the Dog), also shot in Casablanca and produced by Barney Production.
