Denis Gaubert was born in 1976. He studied film at the Guist'hau secondary school in Nantes, then in the directing department of the Louis Lumière national media-arts school. Director of the documentary Les garçons de l'amphi in 1999, he has also worked as director of photography and assistant director of photography.
