Sergio Avellaneda, born in 1999 in Sant Adrià de Besòs, graduated from studying Audiovisual Communication at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and specialised in screenwriting and filmmaking at La Casa del Cine, a small school in Barcelona.
