Michel is a trainee for Dagosto, technical managers for a social housing project. Michel accidentally breaks the central boiler and doesn't dare confess his mistake to his boss.

Emmanuel Marre was born in 1980 in Paris. After studying at the Sorbonne, where he got a masters in comparative literature, he worked as a video maker on Addict, Maryline Klein's theatrical creation developed from videos of people. He then went to study cinema in Belgium, at the IAD (Institut des Arts de Diffusion) in Louvain la Neuve. He made the documentary Beauté de secours, the radio plays Les Choéphores, Le Démon du jeu and the drama Michel, co-directed with Antoine Russbach, also presented in the School Films competition at Premiers Plans this year. Born in 1984 in Geneva, Antoine Russbach spent his childhood and youth acting in and writing for the theatre. After his initial studies, he went on to study directing at the IAD (Institut des Arts de Diffusion) in Belgium. Made in his 4th year, Michel is his first short. It is a project written and directed as part of his studies along with Emmanuel Marre. Currently in his 5th year, Antoine Russbach is preparing the filming of his graduation film.
