Patrick Aurignac was born in 1965. He played a lead in a short called "Le voyage à Deauville", and then became involved in petty crime. After an initional period in prison at the age of twenty, he spent a further six year in an arm robbery.The cinema gave him a route to reintegration : he acted, in particular, in "Coup de foudre" by Diane Kurys (1994). "Mémoires d'un jeune con", his first feature, is an autobiographical work.
