Francois Leroy studied animation at Les Gobelins and Stéphanie Lansaque worked as an art designer for the press and for publishing. In 2003, they travelled to Asia for the first time. The loved that atmosphere so much that is inspired their first film Bonsoir Monsieur Chu, which won the jury prize for French shorts at the 2007 Premiers Plans Festival. In January 2009, they completed there second short, Mei Ling. They are currently working on their third film, which will tell of Vietnam, but from a more social point of view.
