Rafa Cortès
A village in Majorca. A German worker just arrived. An unspoken suspicion. A job to hang on to. Yo is the story of a man who feels accused of something he hasn't done. As he sets out to prove his innocence, everything leads him closer to the real problem: himself.

Rafa Cortés was born in Majorca, Spain, in 1973. He worked as an assistant director for many years, on several feature films. He has directed two short films: Cómo ser Federico Fernández (How to be Federico Fernández) and La leyenda del Sevillano (The Legend of the Sevillian), as well as several commercials and music videos. Together with the actor Alex Brendemühl, he has written Yo, his first feature film.
