In the south of France, Philippe lives between two worlds: the family farm and dealing in cannabis. To save his debt-ridden father he starts trafficking in the heart of the farmers’ market.

Avignon-born Laurent Teyssier studied cinema in Montpellier and Montreal. After working for ten years as a cameraman and editor, and finally director of photography, in 2009 he made his first film, 8 et des poussières, a short which was awarded several prizes both in France and abroad, including the Grand Jury Prize at the Festival Premiers Plans in Angers and the Unifrance Special Jury Prize in Cannes in 2010. He has just finished his fourth short, Beauduc, which was presented in competition at the Montellier Cinemed Festival. He is currently preparing his first feature, Mauvais œil, which was selected at the Ateliers d’Angers in 2012.
