Two sisters, aged 10 and 12, are about to leave their beloved island, which has become too expensive for their family. Their sadness turns into rage towards those forcing them to leave: tourists. This last summer will be dark, deadly, as toxic as the seaweed swarming all over the beaches.

After studying cinema in Nantes, Maïté Sonnet graduated from the Conservatoire européen d'écriture audiviosuelle. She is now a screenwriter for TV, cinema and animated films. Among her projects are a fantasy series about witch-hunting and a family story during the “Blousons Noirs” period. She's currently developing a short film and also her first feature film Tu feras tomber les rois.
