Jean-Paul, who is doing his military service, arrives in Paris on 24 hours'leave. His fiancée Marie-Louise is supposed to be meeting his train, but she goes to the wrong station. There is a race against the clock as the young couple try to find each other.

Manuel Flèche was born in 1958. He has assisted in the direction of several films (Jean-François Stevenin's "Double-Messieurs", Virginie Thevenet's "Jeux d'Artifices", Pilippe Garrel's "La Naissance de l'Amour"). He has also made six short films : "Il y a femme et femme" which won the Prix de qualité of CNC in 1984, "Une Femme pour l'hiver" (Prix Perspectives at Cannes and Grand Prix of the Villeurbane festival in 1988), "La Malheureuse" (Prix Juliet Berto at the Grenoble festival in 1991)
