Elodie Bouédec
Claude is on holiday with her mother Olga and her brother Simon in their house by the sea when a stranger called Victor – an ornithologist – arrives. The latter wants to go to an island inhabited by birds, a place written about in the last novel by Claude's father who had died a few years previously.

Elodie Bouédec was born in 1977 and works as an illustrator for book publishing companies and costume designer on La Méthode Bourchnikov by Grégoire Sivan. Her graduation film at the ENSAD School, De là à là in 2001, has been broadcasted by ARTE channel and selected in many film festivals. For her first professional film, she chooses to work alone on a surrealist animated painting film Malban, a long term project achieved in 2008.
