Born in 1988, Vaiana Gauthier graduated with a DMA Cinéma d'Animation from L'ESAAT (Roubaix). She continued her training at EMCA (Angoulême) where she experimented with various animation techniques. In 2012 she co-directed Allister with Julien Farto, presented this year in the youth programme, and directed Mailles and Eros, her graduation film.
