Vincent Tsui first starting studying Graphic Design before entering Les Gobelins, l'école de l'image, where he spent 3 years. In his final year he was part of the exchange programme between CalArts and Les Gobelins. He made his graduation film individually at CalArts where it was selected for the Producer's Show shortlist. He made four shorts during his training.
