Brendon Grant graduated from Dublin's National College of Art and Design in 1997 and began working as a sculptor. His work has been exhibited in Dublin, London and New York. Before entering NFTS, he gave film lessons to young prisoners and also worked as chief camerman. Since 2001, he has made five short films, including London Fields are Blue, his graduation film. He is currently writing the screenplay for his first feature film, commissioned by the BBC.
