What can you do when you are physically attached to someone else? How can you live together with someone with diverging intentions This is the starting point of this curious animated short, with Löbel going on to explore the most unexpected development. It is impossible here to predict the direction things will take. All you can do is get carried along by this curious situation which, like the characters, digs ever deeper into the absurd and the unpredictable. One wants to climb trees which keep sprouting up from the ground, and the other wants to fly with the birds When they distance themselves from each other, their hair stretches, allowing them to separate even further, but also becoming inextricably entwined. The characters move away from each other in pursuit of their individual objects of desire, without really thinking about the consequences of their actions. The film sidesteps traditional narrative codes, freeing itself from realism and the limits of the possible, giving it a delightful burlesque appeal.
