Daniel is on the hunt for happiness. A loner, his world is peopled by exotic fish. After spotting an advertisement, he decides to take some driving lessons. The "aquarium" of the car is the setting for a strange relationship between the talkative instructor and the silent pupil.

Camille Guillon studied dramatic arts, going on to work as a set designer, props manager, and assistant director. He then went on to produce his own short films on video and more recently on film, as is the case with Like a Fish in Water, his first short fiction film
