Pappi Corsicato
Pappi Corsicato paints the "al dente" portraits of three contemporary Italian women : Aurora, Carmela and Libera who are torn between traditional values - mariage, motherhood, family and religion - and their tremendous appetite for life. And what if, to live their lives, they have to dynamite everything, starting with the archaic respect due to men? These Neapolitans have plenty of pluck and will take an unexpected revenge on their destiny.

Born in 1961 in Naples, Pappi Corsicato studied architecture, then took dance, choreography and musical comedy lessons in New York. He also composed scores for the theatre. In 1988/1989, he was assistant director on "Se Io scopre gargiulo" by Elvio Pora and "Atame" by Pedro Almodovar. He made his first feature, "Libera" between 1992 and 1993.
