Simon and Karine go to visit their parents and their little sister Clara in their Berlin apartment. This apparently ordinary home coming pushes the characters into a strange world with an exultant choreography of the commonplace.

Ramon Zürcher was born on 20 June 1982 in Aarberg, Switzerland. From 2002 to 2005 he studied at the Arts University of Berne (HKB), completing an art diploma with video as an option. In 2005 he won the Kiefer Hablitzelaward for the visual arts for his video work. Since 2006 he has studied directing at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin (dffb).DasmerkwürdigeKätzchen (The StrangeLittle Cat) is his first feature.
