Born in Montpellier in 1980, Émilie Aussel studied at Art School before moving into video art and the creation of artistic installations. In 2009, she decided to move into cinema with her first short film, L'Ignorance invincible, followed by three others which were well received both in France and abroad. L'Été l'éternité (Our Eternal Summer) is her first feature.
