Les Murs porteurs

Frida, an Ashkenazy Jewish woman of 75, is losing her memory and mixes the past with the present. Judith, her daughter, is divorced and has chosen not to work and stay at home and raise her children. Simultaneously she has to face her younger son leaving home and her mother's memory loss. Simon, Frida's son, shows an accurate sense for analysing society through his job as a journalist, but cannot grasp his daughter's blossoming or his mother's ageing. Frida comes back to her former apartment, thinking she would find her husband, who died some years before. She meets Manou, her tenant, who, at the age of 35, is waiting for an important professionnal promotion, while she is pregnant. The return to this flat, crossroads of their lives, will allow the characters of these three generations of a family, to discover each other and themselves.
