Héloïse Ferlay grew up in Savoie and is a director, graduating from the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Her first adventure in stop motion was the short film Geôlier. This was followed by Yola, in animated painting. Her graduation film, another stop motion, À la mer poussière, went around the world and won more than 30 festival awards.
