A young Hungarian woman disappears without a trace Her father comes to Paris to talk to the man with whom she was living. But his memory plays tricks on him, and little by little the father's questions make him wonder: did he ever really know this woman ?

Eskil Vogt is Norwegian. After studying French literature and art history at the University of Oslo, he made a first short film Oyeblikk (The Moment) in 1999. He was admitted to La Fémis to study directing the same year. While there, he made several short films, including An Embrace, and one documentary, Inferno.. Eskil Vogt also wrote the screenplays for two Joachim Trier films screened at Angers: Pieta (2001) and Procter (2003.After finishing his graduation film, Les Etrangers, in 2004, he completed the screenplay for Joachim Trier's first feature film that will be shot in 2005.
