Pablo Dury was born in 1994 in Paris. After secondary school he started cinema studies at the Université 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. In parallel, he set up Limagorium, a collective of filmmakers designed to encourage young film production. It is with this collective that in 2015 he started making Opium, his first medium-length film. It won the Fiction Grand Prix at the Festival Côté Court 2016. This distinction gave him the possibility of making a second medium-length film in 2018, Les Amoureux.
