A framer feels constantly framed, not only by his work, but also by his life and all the people around him... After having tried to communicate with and get closer to other "framed people" he decides to escape from his frame (of life). But the frame he manages to escape from (concretised by thousands of Polaroid photos in which he develops) is itself in another frame (the frame of the film). There is therefore no way out!
