It's night in the city, all is calm, a shadow hangs over the housing project. It's spring in Saint-Denis, and Anton‘s world is turned upside down by the arrival of his father, his college exams, and Nina, a mysterious young woman. The shadow is still there, lurking about Anton's building ; and it has found its prey. The beginning of a long night, a magical quest, that the young man does not come through unscathed.

Djibril Glissant was born in Paris on 5 December 1971. After receiving an MA in philosophy, he went on to study directing at La Fémis. While there, he made two documentaries (Quelque chose en commun and Vanessa en 4 temps 5 mouvements), and Le Centre du monde (1998), filmed in Saint Denis and selected for numerous festivals. In 1999, after a documentary about Isreal, Djibril Glissant made two more short films: Nou té passé et Celle qui s'en va.. When he finished his studies, he collaborated on the screenplay for Emmanuel Mouret's film Laissons Lucie Faire, then made another short film La Vie à plein nez. L'Eclaireur is his first feature film.
