Henri, a tired forty-something, works as a dog handler in a suburban station. One day his boss explains that he will have to get rid of his narcoleptic old Rottweiler Oedipus, his only friend. Incapable of facing up to this, Henri takes comfort in a beer and in Chantal, the waitress at the station buffet. Chantal has taken a shine to Henri. But he is too blind to realise anything.
