Nasri and Nour await nightfall to flee the mounting political tensions in their country. Convinced they will be able to return to Beirut soon, they bring with them only the bare necessities. Little do they know that they are leaving behind the fond memories of a paradise lost.

Eileen Hofer, born in Zurich in 1976, graduated in literature and history of cinema that she completed in Istanbul. She worked for a film festival as a press officer for 4 years. She started then working as a journalist for a Swiss daily newspaper before becoming the chief editor of a Swiss magazine. She's now working as a filmmaker. Her first fiction film Roots was shown last year at Premiers Plans.
