Born in Taiwan and a graduate in Graphic Design from Taichung University (Taiwan), Pang-Chuan Huang then joined the Cinema and Audiovisual course at the Sorbonne Nouvelle – Université Paris 3. He gets his inspiration from his practical experiences in various fields. He started his artistic practice with graphic design, then film photography and finally cinema. His first film, Retour, was presented in major festivals in Taiwan and France, notably winning the Grand Prix at the Festival du Court métrage in Clermont-Ferrand. He currently lives and works between Paris and Lille where he is in post-diploma studies at Le Fresnoy.
