Jan Czarlewski was born in Paris in 1988. He studied Cinema at the Sorbonne and then at the ECAL/University of Art and Design in the Cinema Department. In 2011, he directed L'Ambassadeur et moi, a short documentary film which was selected for the European student films Competition in Premiers Plans Film Festival in 2012.
