Born in 1969, Nicolas Guicheteau graduated from INSAS (image department) in 1994. He has worked as a cameraman and DOP on numerous films including the shorts La Roue tourne and Je veux quelque chose et je ne sais pas quoi by Joanna Grudzinska who was cast for the leading role in La Visite, Nicolas Guicheteau's first film.
