Arnaud Desplechin
Patrick tried to committ suicide. His family gathers in the Mac Gillis'house. They organise the rooms, the extra beds, they talk, the sream, they argue. In the hospital, Patrick is still between life and death.

Born in 1960, Arnaud Desplechin studied directing and camera at IDHEC. After he left school with its diploma in 1984, he began as a cameraman on short films and advertising films, and then on the Nico Papadakis' long feature "La Photo". He works on many scripts, among them "Un monde sans pitié" by Eric Rochant, and was the director of shorts films. In 1989, he obtained the "l'Avance sur recettes" for his first long feature'script "La Sentinelle".
