Eugene Boitsov graduated from the Kharkiv Academy of Culture in the Ukraine in 2009 with a diploma in TV directing. He went on to work as a freelance motion designer for 5 years, before studying at La Poudrière film school. There he directed several shorts including C'est la vie, Le Roi de la Montagne, Les Bébêtes and La Table, his graduation film (2016).
