Born in 1980, Roland Edzard lived in Tamanrasset, Algeria from 1980 to 1988. He studied at the National Studio of Contemporary Art in Strasbourg from 1998 to 2003, then at Fresnoy from 2004 to 2005. He lives and works in Paris.
