Bénédicte Pagnot was born in 1970. Graduate in TV and radio from the ESAV in Toulouse, she worked as location manager from 1998 to 2000, and was project director for the A.R.C.A., in Upper Normandy in 2000. She directed her graduation film, La Devinette in 1994, and a video-documentary entitled J'ai huit ans, c'est la guerre in 1995.
