A small student town in the South, at the end of June. Two benches, a piece of chewing gum, a student waiting for her exam results, a strange young man hanging around, another one elsewhere is bored. Skin is sweaty, skirts are short, streets are narrow and twist back on themselves always bringing you back to the same place. A beautiful day to meet someone.

Martin Rit was born in 1978 and entered the Image department of la Fémis in 2000 after studying image techniques at the University of Paris VIII and philosophy at the University of Aix en Provence. He worked as a DOP for two years before making his first short, La Leçon de guitare, which was shown in Angers last year, winning an award.
