La Mère sauvage

Durind the 1870 war between France and Prussia a peasant woman whose son has enlisted is forced to keep three Prussian soldiers in her house. Her hostile attitude towards them gradually wears away, until she receives news from the front. (Adapted from a short story by Guy de Maupassant).
