Pablo Lopez is 30 years old. He works in a bank and is bored of his life. That is, until this Monday morning when in the midst of a traffic jam, his car hits that of a high class lady from Madrid. The police hassle him and Pablo seeks revenge against this woman. He ends up meeting her younger sister, Maria. His world is rocked....

Manuel Martín Cuenca was born in Almeria, in 1964. A graduate of Information Sciences and the Philology of Spanish, he entered the world of cinema as an assistant director and director of casting. In 1991 he directed his first short film, El Día blanco, followed by Hombres sin mujeres (1998), Nadie (1999), the short documentary Puntos cardinales (2001) and the feature length documentary El juego de Cuba (2001). La Flaqueza del bolchevique is his first fiction feature film. He is also a screenwriter and author as well as teacher at the Escuela Internacional de Cine in Cuba.
