On a hot summer afternoon, a young man finds a stray dog in a public park. He decides to take it back to its owner. A big, half-drunk black woman opens the door to him and asks him to come in to thank him. They sit down in the sitting room. The young man is very uncomfortable. The woman gives him a big glass of alcohol, and he has to drink it with her...

Damien Manivel worked as a dancer for seven years. In 2006 he went to the Studio du Fresnoy. His films Viril and Sois sage, ô ma douleur... were selected for a number of festivals, including Locarno, Rotterdam, Uppsala, Cork, Pantin, Angers, Turin, New York, and London... In 2009, he won the G.R.E.C. for his film La Dame au chien and in 2010, he attended the Grand Atelier Scénario de La fémis to write his feature. He also worked as assistant director to André S. Labarthe for the film Blue Lady on choreographer Carolyn Carlson.
