Nataliya Ilchuk is born in Lviv in Ukraine in 1985. Graduated from film schools in Kyiv and Warsaw, she worked for short film festivals in Ukraine where she self-produced numerous experimental shorts. Having been influenced mostly by cinema of Eastern Europe of the XXth century, its avantgarde approach and its poetry, she is now interested in creating films of extreme intimacy, films as sensual reflexions on social and spiritual issues.
