Each year Michaël Mork, a famous actor, and his young wife, holiday in their château in the Dordogne. In the neighbouring farm an amateur theatre company, led by Bart - a young and talented man - is rehearsing "Romeo and Juliet". The two men become rivals, putting in danger their respective relationships. They fight with the weapons at hand : staging and comedy.

Vincent Dietschy was born in 1964. He graduated from the IDHEC in 1987 and started Sérénade Productions, where he produced his own films - "Une Leçon de Français" short, 1991, "Cette nuit" medium, 1993 and those of other directors Thomas Bardinet, Dominik Moll, Laurent Cantet, Gilles Marchand. "Julie est amoureuse" is his first feature. Vincent Dietschy is currently finishing the screenplay for his second feature, "Chantage".
