João Nicolau

Rita has everything. She is 15 and has her life ahead of her. She soaks the floor of the balcony and spends hours sunbathing. She has a future ex-boyfriend and the unerring companionship of her best friend. She puts her hair in plaits and goes to parties where she can show them off. Quite naturally, from Portugal to the South Pacific, this castle gently crumbles when she goes to see the exhibition being put on by her new neighbour.
