Son of Chilean director Oscar Castro, Cosme Nicomedes Castro grew up in Ivry-sur-Seine, on the stage of the Théâtre Aleph. He is self-taught, having closed the door on the theatre schools he tried to join. In 2008 he chose to take a pseudonym (Pablo Nicomedes), but now again uses his real name. In 2011, with Léa Forest, he created a new cultural association, Les Labos Cinégénetiques, to highlight their passion: film. Cosme Castro is an actor, but his real passion is directing. With Léa Forest he co-directed his first short film, Pour faire la guerre, which was selected la year at Premiers Plans in Figures Libres and will direct his second short film Jeanne. 2014 was marked with the preparation of his first feature, Nous sommes jeunes et nos jours sont longs, co-directed with Léa Forest.
