At ENSAD Jeanne Paturle discovered old-time animation (cooked in a wood-fired oven), ponies and Cécile Rousset. During their final year they made their first films "Les yeux fermés" and "Paul", both of which use a documentary sound track. Freshly graduated, Jeanne fled the capital to start a career in horses in Grenoble, but Cécile Rousset who had become a civil servant, persuaded her to start another adventure, a deeply political one, which would give rise to the film "Je suis une voix".
