Duarte, a blind man in his 50s, starts to look for his Cape Verdean friend, Leandro, who has mysteriously disappeared. Despite the summer heat of Lisbon, Duarte walks miles through his neighbourhood but no one seems to have seen or even known his friend. His quest will eventually lead him to the depths of the night and reveal his secret.

Of Portuguese and French nationality, Cristèle shot a documentary in Cape Verde, Som & Morabeza, where she reflects on immigration in Portuguese-speaking African countries, followed by a second documentary in Angola, Born in Luanda. She directed two short films shot in Portugal: Sol branco and Campo de Víboras, both selected at Premiers Plans. Her short film Invisível Herói (Invisible Hero) was selected for the 58th Critics' Week. She developed the script of her first feature project at the 2016 Ateliers d'Angers.
